Rentals

The Bicycle Cellar has a fleet of rental bikes that are ideal for both commuters & tourists alike. Included in the price of rental is a lock, helmet and lights. Staying in Scottsdale or Phoenix? Bicycles can be taken on the light rail which runs through downtown Phoenix and the majority of downtown Scottsdale can be accessed via the Indian Bend Wash mutli-use path which starts just north of Tempe Town Lake. Also with in a 20 minute bike ride are several attractions including Papago Park, The Phoenix Zoo, Desert Botanical Gardens, Kiwanis Park, Tempe Marketplace and the Pueblo Grande Museum & Cultural Park. Also, The Bicycle Cellar will customize bike rental rates for large parties or time periods not listed on our rental menu. If you have a special request please contact us to see how we can best suit your needs.

PARKING: The garage on the SW corner 5th and Forest is pay after parking. First hour is free and $1.50 per hour after that with a daily maximum of $12.00. Parking in the garage is FREE on weekends and City holidays.

Our Rental Fleet consists of Kona and Sun models listed below:

ElliptiGO Demo Program	3 or 8 speed	Two pieces of equipment in one! An elliptically powered bicycle! The ElliptiGO requires about 30% more effort than a traditional bicycle over the same distance. Get outside for a great low impact workout that takes you places! RENTAL RATES: 2 hours: $30, 4 hours: $40, 8 hours: $50, 24 hours: $65, 48 hours: $85.
Sun Spider Fat Bike	2-speed	The Sun Spider Fat Bike is truly an all terrain machine. From paved to dirt to beach sand to snow, the Spider does it all! We have two in our fleet, one size fits all but shorter folks!
Kona Honky Tonk	24-speed	Kona's Honky Tonk is a steel frame road bike offering a smooth ride with slightly wider than traditional tires (28mm wide). We have two in rental, one 53cm and one 56cm. If you ride clipless shoes we recommend you bring your own pedals, otherwise the bike is fitted with platform pedals.
Yuba Mundo Cargo	21-speed	The Yuba Mundo cargo bike is the Cadillac of cargo bikes. Rated for 500 pounds of cargo it can be configured to carry two kids, an adult passenger, or any type of cargo you can affix to the oversized rear deck and running boards! Kona MinUte	24-speed	The Kona MinUte is a light duty cargo bike with a shorter wheelbase than the Kona Ute or Yuba Mundo. It also has road size wheels and disc brakes. It's nimble yet capable of hauling 200 pounds of cargo. We have two in our fleet, one 18" one 20". One of these is electrified with a BionX motor for pedal or throttle assist.
Kona Dr. Good	7-speed	The Kona Dr. Good is our newest addition to the rental fleet. We have four in the fleet in four different sizes. Each bike is equipped with a rack and bag. Heavy duty tires, front disc brake and a 7 speed internal shifting rear hub lend themselves to excellent reliability and performance.
Kona Nunu 26'er Mountain Bike	24-speed	Kona's Nunu mountain bike is perfect for hitting the trails in and around Tempe. We have one in the rental fleet, a 16" suitable for folks from 5'5" - 5'8".
Kona Mahuna 29'er Mountain Bike	24-speed	Kona's Mahuna mountain bike is perfect for hitting the trails in and around Tempe. We have 3 in rental, one 16", 18" and 20".
Schwinn Tandem	1-speed	This classic single speed refurbished Schwinn tandem features comfortable seats; perfect for cruising the paths of Tempe Town Lake! We have one in our fleet.
Kona Africa Bike	3-speed	Tough as a rhinoceros, fleet as a gazelle, durable as a crocodile, easy to maintain and designed specifically to provide effective, affordable transportation to those who need a bike that gets the job done-no matter if it's dirt roads or roadways. Kona Humu	1-speed	The Kona Humu is a tribute to the roots of mountain biking back in the 70's. One speed, all fun! We have one in our rental fleet.
Kilroy Cruiser	1-speed	This particular single speed beach cruiser has been tested on the flats of the Black Rock Desert during the Burning Man festival. Well suited to cruising the streets of Tempe. We have one in our fleet.
Trailers	N/A	We have two trailers available for a nominal fee when renting a bicycle. One kids trailer which will carry one or two small children, and one cargo trailer (not pictured, Burley brand).
